A standard DStv installation typically takes between 2-4 hours, depending on the complexity of the setup and your property’s layout. Factors like the need for additional cabling, wall mounting, or multiple decoders may extend the installation time.

Our standard installation includes:
• Satellite dish installation and alignment
• Decoder setup and activation
• Basic cabling (up to 15m from dish to decoder)
• Remote control programming
• Demonstration of system features
• 12-month warranty on workmanship

You will need to have your DStv decoder (Explora, HD, or other models) and subscription. We provide the satellite dish, LNB, cabling, and other installation components. If you need to purchase a decoder, we can assist with that as well.

Common causes of signal issues include:
• Misaligned satellite dish (due to wind or improper installation)
• Faulty LNB (the device on the dish arm)
• Damaged or old cabling
• Obstructions like trees or new buildings blocking the signal
• Electrical issues or faulty decoders
Our technicians can diagnose and fix these issues quickly.

A properly installed dish shouldn’t need regular realignment. However, we recommend checking your dish alignment every 2-3 years, or if you experience signal problems. In windy areas or after severe weather, an earlier check might be necessary.
